Sunday August 17th, the Zawinul Foundation For Achievement along with the Austrian Consul General, held an event to honor Philip Woloch and Jamael Dean, the two recipients of this years student exchange program. The night started off with an award ceremony, in which the foundation presented Jamael Dean with an award and recognition of being the first American student to be selected to visit Austria as part of the exchange program. The award ceremony was then followed by a dinner, in which guests were treated to a delicious Austrian cuisine. The night ended with a small concert, which the Austrian Consul General herself Ms. Ulrike Ritzinger opened and closed the concert. Philip and Jamael both performed a few songs of their choosing, truly showcasing their undeniable musical talents.
