Congratulations to Jonathan Rivera. This years U.S. recipient of the Joe Zawinul Music Student Exchange program. Jonathan will be enjoying 10 days in Vienna, where he will explore the food, music and culture of Joe’s hometown.
This years Winner was selected with the help of the Musicians Institute here in Los Angeles. Jonathan Rivera is a 18 year-old bass player from Los Angeles who currently attends the School. He is interested in both classical and modern genres and looks forward to playing with other musicians abroad.
