We would like to welcome the foundations newest board member. Rusty Edwards.
Rusty will be serving as the Director of Development. Here’s a little something about Rusty.
“Dr. Rusty Edwards has written lyrics for Dave Brubeck and Peter Erskine, and the foreword to his first songbook was written by Chick Corea. Thirty two of his songs have been published in books used in over a dozen countries, and have been sung on all seven continents, including Antarctica. He recently wrote the theme song for The Visit of His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama to Atlanta. He is the Senior Pastor of Christ Lutheran Church in Marietta, Georgia, and received the “Heroes of Hope, Healing and Strength” award in 2013. Rusty is a Founder’s Society member of The Allman Brothers Band Museum.”
